Agreement of Understanding for “Doghouse At Your Door” – Waiver – Terms and Conditions.
This Agreement is between Doghouse Pets Boarding and Daycare LLC agrees that it has the legal authority to enter into this agreement and the Pet Owner agree to the following terms and conditions:
● Payment: Payment is due in full on or before the start date of “Doghouse at Your Door’s” care for the Pet Owner’s animal(s).
● Cancellation: To cancel or modify a booking, the Pet Parent must contact “Doghouse at Your Door” via Phone or WhatsApp. There will be no charge for changes / cancellations made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled visit. However, if the visit is less than 2 hours away, the Pet Parent will be responsible for the full visit cost.
● Consultation (Meet & Greet): This service is mandatory and will be complimentary.
● Photographic and Video Materials: Any photos or videos taken of the Pet Parent’s pets during visits may be utilized by “Doghouse at Your Door” for promotional/social media purposes across its online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and dog-house.ae. Any use beyond the terms of this agreement will require the Pet Parent’s approval. If the Pet Parent prefers not to have their pet’s photos or videos used, they can request an opt-out by contacting Doghouse at Your Door.
● Scheduling: The Pet Parent agrees that during weekends, holidays, and/or when the assigned employee of “Dog House at Your Door” is unavailable due to illness, visits to the Pet Parent’s pets will be handled by qualified substitute or weekend pet sitting and dog walking staff employed by “Dog House at Your Door”.
● Illness: The Pet Parent agrees to inform “Dog House at Your Door” of any signs of injury or illness as soon as they arise, prior to any scheduled visit. “Dog House at Your Door” reserves the right to cancel services at any location where a pet is suspected of having a potentially contagious condition. To ensure a clean and safe service for all clients, “Dog House at Your Door” pets must be fully vaccinated, de-wormed, and protected against harmful insects and parasites based on veterinary advice.
● Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, “Dog House at Your Door” will make every reasonable attempt to contact the Pet Parent before seeking medical treatment for the pet(s). However, if time is critical or “Dog House at Your Door” cannot reach the Pet Parent, they give authorization for “Dog House at Your Door” to take the pet(s) to a veterinary hospital for necessary treatment. The Pet Parent agrees to take full responsibility for all costs and/or reimbursement for any veterinary services provided, including but not limited to diagnosis. Treatment, grooming, medical supplies, and boarding. Such payments will be made within 14 days of the initial incident. The Pet Parent releases “Dog House at Your Door” from any and all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expenses. The Pet Parent authorises “Dog House at Your Door” and the Pet Parent’s primary Veterinary Surgeon(s) to share all of the medical records of the pets with veterinary clinics in an emergency in the interest of providing the best care for the ill or injured pet(s).
● Injury: If the Pet Parent’s pet(s) bite or injure a third-party (another person or pet), the Pet Parent agrees to cover all medical expenses incurred by “Dog House at Your Door” or the injured third-party as a result of the incident.
● Injury: “Dog House at Your Door” and its employees will not be held liable for any injuries or illness the Pet Owner’s pets might suffer while in the care of “Dog House at Your Door”, nor for the death of a pet.
● Leash: Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times during dog walks while in the care of “Dog House at Your Door”.
● Burglary: “Dog House at Your Door” and its employees will not be liable for any loss or damage if the Pet Owner’s home is burglarized. The Pet Owner specifically agrees to secure the home before leaving and to provide “Dog House at Your Door” with instructions on how to properly secure the property. The employee of “Dog House at Your Door” will secure the home after each visit to the best of their ability. While the keys are in the possession of “Dog House at Your Door,” they will either be kept on an employee’s person or securely stored in a safe location.
● Property Damage: “Dog House at Your Door” and its employees will not be held responsible for any damage caused by the Pet Owner’s pets to household items if the pets have access to them. If household items are accessible to the pets during the “Dog House at Your Door” stay and/or scheduled visit, “Dog House at Your Door” will not be liable for any resulting damage.
● Liability: “Dog House at Your Door” and its employees are not responsible for pets that are left outside or may escape from the Pet Owner’s property when a “Dog House at Your Door” employee is not present. This includes situations such as when the Pet Owner uses a doggie door, cat flap, or when pets are allowed to live or stay outdoors at times.
The Pet Owner agrees that by entering into this agreement, “Dog House at Your Door” is authorized to accept all future online & phone reservations, and that the assigned employee may enter the Pet Owner’s home on the scheduled dates without needing additional written approval or contracts. The Pet Owner also grants permission for necessary veterinary care without further authorization when “Dog House at Your Door” cares for their pets. This agreement covers all pets in “Dog House at Your Door”’s care. By accepting this agreement, the Pet Owner confirms they have the authority to make decisions regarding their pets’ financial, health, and medical needs.
